Vibroacoustic Therapy and EFT

Vibroacoustic Therapy
Vibroacoustic Therapy applies specific low frequency sinusoidal tones through a transducer system embedded in a chair or treatment table. The frequencies are selected intentionally and delivered at therapeutic amplitudes to stimulate physiological responses.
Research suggests that low frequency vibration can support nervous system regulation by encouraging parasympathetic activation. Clinical observations and research also suggest that consistent sessions may assist with faster healing and recovery.
What can Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) do for you?
Vibroacoustic therapists do not diagnose or cure medical conditions, but VAT can relieve many of the symptoms experienced by people of all ages:
Sleep issues
Anxiety
Chronic pain
Osteoarthritis
Blood pressure issues
Circulation problems
Constipation
Stroke rehabilitation
Stress reduction
Extending mobility
COPD and other breathing issues
VAT can also provide sensory stimulation for those with progressive neurological diseases and disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease.
You don ’t need to have serious health issues to benefit from VAT. Many people attend sessions purely for relaxation or pain relief.
Vibroacoustic Therapy is a safe, accessible, drug-free approach to reducing stress, pain, anxiety and improving your quality of life.
What Happens During a Vibroacoustic TherapySession?
A vibroacoustic therapy session is conducted while you are fully clothed. During the experience, you will sit or lie down directly on a specially designed device (lounge, chair, etc.). This device is embedded with transducers that transmit sonic frequencies into vibrations. The vibrations target specific areas of your body, depending on your needs. Therapy lasts about 25 minutes. After the session is complete, you will meet with your therapist to review the outcome and fine-tune the therapy to maximize the benefits of your course of treatment.
While VAT is very gentle there are some contraindications for it. It is not recommended for those having the following:
Active Bleeding from a recent serious injury or post operative, Acute Recent Whiplash, Acute Thrombosis, Acute Hypotension (very low blood pressure), Pregnancy in 1st Trimester, Psychosis, Recent heart attack, Acute Inflammation, Recently prolapsed intervertebral disc.
